MBL Technologies is currently hiring for a
Lead Security Control Assessor to work directly with the federal Assessment Agent; leads the security assessment engagement and is accountable for the overall quality of assessment deliverables; mentors and supervises team of assessors; manages the day-to-day operations and effectiveness of security-related programs and initiatives; applies advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise; develops innovative solutions to complex problems; works with minimal supervision; and the ability to be flexible and adapt to client needs and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience conducting and leading a small team in performing NIST 800-53 Rev. 4/5 security control assessments against on-premise systems and FedRAMP cloud-based systems, including but not limited to developing assessment kickoffs PowerPoint decks, SCA Plans, SAR/RARs, POA&Ms, etc.; conducting system interviews through independently-developed security-focused questions; reviewing security artifacts and vulnerability scans; validating security control implementation based on interviews, examinations, and technical testing; and documenting security control implementations within a security control workbook or CRM
- 5+ year of experience evaluating and assessing well-known cloud platforms (e.g. IaaS – AWS, Azure, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience communicating, presenting and collaborating with the Federal client
- 5+ years of experience with successfully managing assessment timelines and developing required deliverables using established client templates with attention to detail
- 3+ years of experience with developing and implementing risk management strategies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Must have Bachelor's degree
- CISSP; Cloud-related Certification; and additional certification from the list below:
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Continuing Education (CE) , GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) , GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) , CISSP-Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP) , CISSP-Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (CISSP-ISSEP) , CISSP-Information Systems Security Management Professional (CISSP-ISSMP) , CyberSecurity First Responder (CFR) , Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) , or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
