  • Agency Services: brand and promotional strategy, sponsorship consulting, experiential marketing, hospitality, content, digital, and social media marketing 


  • Property Assets – owned-and-operated media, live sports, culinary, trades and lifestyle properties 

Intersport is seeking to add a smart and driven Junior IT Administrator/IT Support Specialist to its Admin team. The Intersport IT department is integral to providing company-wide technology, compliance, and security leadership as well as hardware, software, and cloud services. The Junior IT Administrator/IT Support Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Intersport IT Department Help Desk software, providing tech support to the organization, and helping to shape the future of the company’s vision for IT and subsequent solutions.

The Junior IT Administrator/IT Support Specialist should be someone seeking ownership and corresponding accountability for responsibilities spanning all things IT. Responsibilities General 


  • Embody and reflect Intersport’s performance-based culture and commit him/herself and team to the highest standards for all work responsibilities 


  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver executional excellence 

Key Responsibilities and Capabilities 


  • Help manage and administer Intersport’s Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID, and other associated apps while working with vendors regarding licensing and support. 


  • Maintain, configure, and reliably operate computer systems, networking equipment, and servers 


  • Help manage Active Directory user accounts and computer hardware inventory 


  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing incidents, and assessing the impact of the issues 


  • Collaborate with Intersport IT Department members on support efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment matters are resolved promptly with limited disruptions 


  • Support third-party application relationships with various vendors 


  • Collaborate with IT Department members on deploying new software/hardware 

Tools and Platforms  


  • Basic knowledge of Hyper-V (or comparable VM service), Windows Server 2012-2019, O365, and other third-party’ applications to maintain network software and hardware 


  • Experience with help desk tools/ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, FreshService, or similar 


  • Experience with Cloud and hybrid Cloud/On-premises security designs 


  • Experience in onboarding new employee hardware and software applications in an efficient manner 

Qualifications 


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required 


  • One (1) to three (3) years’ relevant professional experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing office desktops, laptops, peripherals, networks, servers, and third-party applications 


  • Must be able to multi-task with strong attention to detail and accuracy 


  • Effectively work in a team environment, continuously displaying a professional attitude 


  • Knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices 


  • Communicates effectively, both written and verbal 


  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or similar certifications are a plus 


  • Ability to provide in-person presence at Intersport’s headquarters at 303 E. Upper Wacker Dr. a minimum of three (3) days per week
