Our local business in North Austin is one of the country's leading providers of high-end blinds, shades, and shutters, and we're looking for an Installation and Sales Technician to join our team!
What You'll Do:
As an Installation/Sales Technician, you'll visit clients' homes in the Austin area and use your entrepreneurial mind and eye for design to offer expert suggestions from our product catalogue of premium window treatments. Your days will be varied and dynamic: engaging with clients, performing installations and repairs, and ensuring every detail is perfect.

- Competitive Compensation: Base salary in the range of $18-24/hour. Plus commission!

Requirements:
- Experience: Background in sales, customer service, installations, carpentry, or a related field is valued but not required. Enthusiasm, thirst to grow, and flexibility to contribute to a small team's success is paramount.
- Driving Record: Clean and valid Texas Driver's License
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check
Ideal Candidates Have:
- Enthusiasm + hands-on nature: Installation experience is valued but not essential. We seek individuals eager to provide amazing service to end users through Austin! Customer service experience is preferred.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills and drive will serve you well on the day to day.
- Flexibility: Comfortability working within established processes. Ease in collaborating with a small team and knowing when to take the initiative.
- Customer Mindset: Skilled in working with luxury clientele, providing high-quality, long-term solutions using a consultative approach to maintain lasting relationships with clients.
- Curiosity: Passionate about learning company products and offering precise recommendations.
- Communication: Professional, natural communicator who connects easily with clients to make consultative suggestions and execute on sales and solutions.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform in-home installations and repairs within a 45-mile radius (with autonomy over your schedule)!
- Educate clients on the best options for their window covering needs, trouble shooting on your feet with repairs and install surprises when-needed.
- Use company-provided technology for precise measurements for client's spaces
- Ensure flawless installations with lasting solutions
- Coordinate and oversee installations from start to finish, provide clients with quotes and managing completion of the order process
- Maintain stock by procuring from our manufacturers when needed
- Manage the installation process, from product delivery to completion (loading orders, keeping track of inventory).
- Utilize CRM software for accurate quotes and product tracking
- Follow up proactively with clients post-installation
- Drive to and from client consultations in a company-provided vehicle (Maximum: 3-4 appointments per day).
