Job Summary:
Work for a world class kitchen operation serving baseball teams! Under the direction of the Chef de Cuisine, this position will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of the performance food service operation for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team.
*Starting at $18.50/hour, based on experience*
Key Responsibilities:
- Both hot line and cold line cooking and preparation (May be working grill, prep, a la carte production, etc.)
- Uphold the integrity and standards of all the products
- Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and organization of kitchen at all times
- Provide "Best in Class" hospitality for our high-profile client
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience cooking in a professional kitchen
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices, and culinary skills
- Self-motivated and passionate about cooking
- Strong creativity and interest in building healthy meals with lots of flavor
- Ability to follow recipes and adjust recipes as needed
- Professional demeanor, and a service-first attitude
Ideal Candidates:
- Experience in batch cooking
- A working knowledge of baseball
- Understand nutrition and performance based food
Work Requirements:
- Ability to work non-standard work week, including early mornings and weekends (we have no night shifts!!)
- Ability to commute to Goodyear, AZ
- ServSafe Food Handlers or Manager Card
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- HACCP knowledge a plus
Work Schedule-
- Early mornings - afternoon
- Must be able to work weekends
