Full-timeDescriptionThe inside sales representative will work cooperatively with outside sales, management, and other members of the team to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while providing great customer service.
Responsibilities
• Sells based on Tidewater Fleet Supply/TNT Parts value proposition by identifying key growth opportunities product and services offerings. • Generate new and repeat sales by educating customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.• Accurately process customer transactions such as providing pricing or quotes, taking orders or managing returns. • Proactively recommend items needed by the customer to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. • Service existing accounts and communicate with clients on a regular basis. • Discuss use and features of various parts.• Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.• Work with walk-in customers regarding questions on orders, quotes and/or job specifications, assist with other front counter duties.• Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.• Maintain active and proactive customer relationships to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction/retention and resolve any complaints.• Manage Accounts in the CRM system.• Update account profiles in CRM regularly for contact info and sales potential.• Coordinate parts with the appropriate personnel, advise appropriate staff on delivery instructions.• Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.• Standing for extended periods of time.• Keying data in repetitive motion is frequently required.• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).• Minimum 1 to 3 years sales/customer service experience, or the equivalent of education and experience.
