About the role
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for securing new JOLT sites for public EV charger development throughout New Zealand. You will be working closely with all levels of private and public landowners to deliver public EV charging solutions. You will lead commercial site development in New Zealand., securing new sites whilst engaging with the wider team to seamlessly hand over sites for development. This role reports to the NZ Country Manager.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Secure new JOLT public EV charging sites to help grow the New Zealand network, working to agreed KPI’s
- Source, negotiate and on-board new sites with landowners.
- Maintain a high level of reporting, with accurate commercial pipeline and forecast at all times
- Ensure internal communication with key stakeholders is maintained through weekly WIP’s and planning working within an Agile environment.
- Represent JOLT in front of landowners displaying professionalism and a friendly attitude.
About you
- You will have a strong sales background, with a least 3 years experience, demonstrating an attitude and ability to deliver a strong pipeline of results.
- You are ideally from a business development background, understand the nuances of closing commercial agreements and can display past successes.
- Good problem solver with an ability to thrive in a fast moving industry that is only just starting to grow at pace and scale.
- Be willing to be the hunter, researching, calling and visiting potential new sites that will add value to the JOLT network.
- Thrive on a challenge, displaying a high level of persistence and drive to achieve KPI’s.
- Be innovative, entrepreneurial, and creative to uncover opportunities.
