This is a full-time hybrid position.The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing and processing contracts for new business opportunities and reviewing existing contracts.
Ensuring alignment with GHS policy and legal compliance.
What you'll do:
- Support GHS and opportunity owners through the bid and proposal management process.
- Fully understand GHS Services, offerings, and the ecosystem of 3rd party vendors.
- Collaborating and liaising with multiple stakeholders – finance, sales, technical, external legal counsel – to develop contracts, manage changes as needed in support of specific projects / opportunities.
- Escalate issues to appropriate internal teams where needed and collaborate with those teams to find creative solutions for those issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance contract management processes and compliance protocols.
- Commercial IT Contract development (for services, sub-contracted services and resale).
- Commercial IT Contract negotiation working with management and sales team
- Review and negotiation of supplier contracts (hardware, software and services suppliers), to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting thorough assessments of contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and liabilities.
- Maintain a repository of contracts and detailed records of key events, decisions, and notifications.
- Add improvements to existing company contract policies to ensure compliance and reduce any potential risks.
- Recommend and liaise with retained outside counsel.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or related degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in contract management/project management positions in technology industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with business partners
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong working relationships with business partners.
- Ability to handle a high volume of work with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently and effectively
