Maintenance Technician in our Phoenix, AZ factory for our
night shift.
Job Overview
The
Maintenance Technician
will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Reassembles equipment and test for conformance to specifications
- Disassembles malfunctioning equipment, examines and tests mechanisms on large and small pieces of machinery
- Test equipment and adjusts calibration to ensure equipment is functioning is within specified standards
- Searches for and executes against continuous improvement opportunities, executes work in a quality fashion
- Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Trains and assess new team members in the maintenance department.
- Assist with identifying gaps in training and developing plans to address the gaps.
- Adheres to and enforces safety regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- High School diploma/ GED required, 3+ years of maintenance and/or equivalent experience
- Required to conduct work at extreme heights, at times
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Extended hours during peak season (Oct-Dec). Overtime mandatory.
- Knowledge of basic general maintenance skills
