Book of the Month is growing, and we are looking for a high potential, career oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will work collaboratively with the People, Talent & Recruiting team and the business to help recruit, onboard, and retain our awesome team. You will also work closely with the President & COO and SVP of People by providing a variety of high quality administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who seeks to build a career by developing top notch hiring and interviewing skills within a strategic Recruiting function, while also getting broad exposure to the inner workings of a high performing DTC business.What you will do…
- Recruiting Operations: Work with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to move the hiring process forward effectively. This may include: scheduling interviews, maintaining job postings, pro-actively sourcing candidates, managing the onsite candidate experience, learning how to effectively interview and assess candidates, and eventually screening and making recommendations on candidates.
- Administration and Special Projects: Provide administrative and calendar management support for the President & COO and SVP of People. Create agendas, collect relevant information, and facilitate smooth meeting execution for important standing meetings led by the President & COO and/or SVP of People. Over time, learn to appropriately prioritize meetings, scope length, vet agendas and make sure appropriate information is provided ahead of time.
- Onboarding / Offboarding: Support the People team with administering onboarding and offboarding processes, such as pre-employment tasks, various communications, and IT coordination.
- People & Talent Operations: Over time, help administer various People programs including benefits, perks, recognition, and team culture initiatives.
What you should have…
- 2+ years of work experience where you demonstrated grit, effectively managing dynamism, and making an impact
- Experience working in a recruiting function is highly preferred; with an aspiration to develop a true HR generalist skill set over time
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; ability to perform tasks with high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Maturity and professionalism; demonstrates good judgment that engenders respect and trust from others
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to positively represent a company brand
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines consistently
- High degree of flexibility in a demanding, fast-paced and frequently changing environment
- Ability to problem solve and take initiative to overcome obstacles
Salary Range: $62,400 - $75,000
