We are looking to hire a Junior IT Support Specialist who will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to cloud-based infrastructure as well as hardware and software. This role involves responding to queries, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions.
This is a hybrid role (3x/week)  based in St Petersburg, Fl.

Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field would be an asset
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other IT support role.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Window and/or MacOSFamiliarity with help desk software such as Jira.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.

What You Will Be Doing:


  • Respond to tickets in accordance with SLA guidelines
  • Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution
  • Respond in timely manner to requests and issues
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting.
  • Repair and replace equipment as needed
  • Provide onsite and remote support to end users
  • Assist in AV setups as needed for meetings
  • Assist new hire training for basic IT needs.
  • Set up new workstations for users (deploying equipment, checking over account setups).
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts and permissions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT issues and resolutions in the help desk system.
  • Assist in the deployment of new applications and upgrades.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on various applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements.
