We are seeking a proven Institutional Sales professional to join our team and drive the growth of our fixed income trading platform. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and managing client relationships, while representing Cabrera Capital Market’s broker dealer. The role requires a confident individual who can work with and effectively promote our fixed income trading services to a wide range of institutional clients.

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key institutional clients, including Pension Funds, State Treasurys and Asset Managers.
  • Identify and cultivate areas of common interest in fixed income products, rates, credit, structured products, and preferred trading.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of client investment strategies, account performance, and market developments to tailor and promote additional services from Cabrera Capital.

  • Sales and Promotion:

  • Act as the primary point of sales contact and client interactions focused on our fixed income trading platform.
  • Actively prospect new business opportunities in the fixed income market.
  • Present and promote Cabrera Capital's fixed income products and services effectively to prospective and existing clients.

  • Market Knowledge and Strategy:

  • Stay informed about market trends and developments in the fixed income space to provide clients with relevant insights and advice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic sales plans that align with client needs and market opportunities in fixed income trading.
  • 30% Travel required.

  • Any other duties assigned.

Requirements


  • Proven experience in sales in financial services industry, with a focus on fixed income products.

  • Strong understanding of fixed income trading, rates, credit, structured products, and preferred trading.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Minimum of 3 years related institutional fixed income sales or trading (IG Corporate Bonds, MBS, Structured Products, Rates)
  • Demonstrated track record for successfully prospecting, and managing new institutional management and public pension fund relationships
  • Exceptional client-facing, written and verbal communication skills
  • Accomplished in using MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Series 7 & Series 63
