This presents a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is creating a product with a profound impact on our customers, working on cutting-edge 100,000-pound autonomous robots, engineering intricate systems at the intersection of hardware, software, and AI, and joining the early stages of an exciting startup journey.About the roleAs a robotics Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Teleo, your role will be to coordinate across multiple teams the design, validation, manufacturing, and deployment of Teleo Supervised Autonomy Tech on multiple different types of heavy machinery.

You will work with internal teams, 3rd party installation groups, and customers to build, communicate, maintain, and execute complex schedules from hardware ordering to final handover with the customer.You project manage independently and support all project team members with appropriate drive and urgency to deliver to Teleo's commitments.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex projects that integrate various engineering disciplines, along with a proven track record of effective customer interaction.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor in Engineering (Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or a related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer developing and shipping hardware products
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary projects (mechanical, electrical, software) across the full product development cycle (design, manufacturing, deployment and tech support)
  • Acute attention to detail with a passion for managing multi-disciplinary projects

Preferred Qualification/Bonus Points


  • MS in Engineering (Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or a related field with 5+ years of hands-on experience 
  • Extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary robotics R&D and production projects domestically and internationally.
  • Proven experience developing custom workflows in task-tracking software (Jira, Asana...)
  • Startup experience (hands-on + creative thinker with a Get It Done attitude)
  • Experience interacting with customers and representing the company

Work Environment & Physical Demands


Performance of the position requires working safely and may occasionally require climbing up to elevated surfaces, working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, noise levels, and on a range of outdoor work surfaces. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in addition, the position may require frequent movement and activity relating to using keyboards, viewing data on computer displays, and communicating verbally and in writing. You may be required to occasionally stand for extended periods, operate tools and controls, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbsTeleo is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
