Job Description


Crown is seeking a Contracts Manager responsible for providing administration, financial management, budget reconciliation, and contract-specific reporting requirements for a large contract with a NASA client. The contract manager will ensure full compliance with the contract's requirements and successful administration throughout the life of the contract.Responsibilities – Contract Specific Work (60%):  -Develops, prepares, and administers contracts, bids, and proposals that meet specifications and comply with all policies and regulations.  -Supports or participates in contract negotiations with suppliers, partners, or customers.  -Reviews contract terms to identify any potential risk or compliance issues. -Examines supporting materials and agreement documents related to bids or contracts and provides guidance.  -Acts as a liaison between the organization and subcontractors to implement the contracts.  -Maintains contract records used to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities – Other (40%):  -Administer non-complex contracts under the direction of the Contracts Manager and in collaboration with other Contract administrators.

  -Perform routine regulatory submissions.   -Maintains an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts. Candidates selected may be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. Location: Limited Hybrid

Qualifications


-Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or legal discipline.  -3-8 years' federal government contracting experience with a focus on contracts issued by NASA.  -Strong knowledge of FAR and NFS regulations is required, and working knowledge of FAA AMS is a plus. -Experience with various types of contracts (T&M, Cost-plus and FFP).    Required Skills:-Demonstrated knowledge of automated business systems; experience with UNANET or other similar accounting software package is a plus.  -Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.  -Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  -Excellent teamwork skills; strong time management skills.  -Ability to support work accomplished on east-coast working hours.

  -Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  -Experience working for a Small/Mid-sized company preferred.  -Flexibility to wear many hats and adapt well to change.  -Heavy Organization Skills: detail oriented, problem solving, strong communication and collaboration skills, self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
