Job Overview


District Photo Inc. is now hiring for a Seasonal Warehouse Associate. In this role you will be responsible for helping to maintain an efficient, productive, and safe warehouse, while meeting or exceeding daily requirements. You will work closely with Production and Shipping to ensure they never run out of any product. The position will ensure that standard operating procedures are followed, quality product is shipped on time and safety is always adhered to.

Work Schedule: 


Peak Schedule


Week 1:

Sunday to Wednesday - 5pm to 5am

Week 2:

Sunday to Tuesday - 5pm to 5am
(Schedule subject to changed based on production volume)

Non Peak Schedule


Sunday to Tuesday - 5pm to 5am(Schedule subject to changed based on production volume)

Job Duties and Expectations:


  • Handling, moving and storing various non-hazardous and hazardous materials.
  • Checking incoming shipments against records to make sure the correct items are packed, unloaded and distributed. 
  • Recording inventory statuses, and making sure deliveries properly match purchase orders.
  • Counting and tracking items, operation of automated systems.
  • Operation of forklift and electric power jack, responsible for driving equipment throughout the facility.
  • Stocking material in designated locations and overseeing the organization of a busy warehouse.
  • Removal of waste and recycling material to designated locations.
  • Able to be flexible to work different shifts including weekends, holidays, and long hours at peak times of year (May and November/December).
  • Excellent attendance is a must.
  • Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities, including constant and repetitive motions, reaching, bending, picking, walking, standing, gripping, and grabbing.
  • Periodically, assigned with other projects and duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience is desired.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Ability to execute assigned duties in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Prior forklift (stand up/sit down) and electric power jack experience is essential.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred, but not essential.
  • Must be able to perform basic math calculations

 Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities, including constant and repetitive motions, reaching, bending, picking, walking, standing, gripping and grabbing for duration of shifts up to 12 hours per scheduled day
  • Frequently lifting 5-50lbs
  • Have enough mobility to access and navigate in right spaces
