Position Summary


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Channel Relationship Manager to lead and cultivate relationships with master agents, including Avant, Telarus, Intellisys and other important partners. We ask that you be a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of channel sales. You will responsible for driving business growth through partner management and collaboration. You will report directly to our Chief Growth Officer.

A Glimpse into the Daily Routine of a Channel Relationship Manager


A great Channel Relationship Manager will have deep connections with the Master Agents and Sub Agent communities. These connections require constant, strong communication to maintain them and so a typical daily routine will include fostering and nurturing these relationships. Outside of this, it is necessary to regularly brief both the Master and Sub Agents on Effectual's capabilities and updates to our business, these can be formal presentation style meetings or ad-hoc team calls that are more interactive.

At all points during the day a great Channel Relationship Manager will think about who has the relationships with the customers that Effectual can assist and can utilize that relationship to broker an introduction. Outside of working with Partners, Master Agents, Sub Agents and internal Effectual teams it's important that the Channel Relationship Manager documents and records their activities in Salesforce so that we can report on successes, investments, pipeline and on-going programs and use this data to make informed decisions about Effectual's overall Channel strategy.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive channel strategy to enhance relationships with master agents like Avant, Telarus and Intellisys.
  • Be the primary contact for master agents, promoting mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Identify new opportunities for collaboration and business growth within the master agent network.
  • Work with our teams to ensure understanding of ongoing channel programs.
  • Provide training and support to master agents to help them achieve sales targets and drive revenue.
  • Analyze the performance of master agents, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the channel.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Represent Effectual at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings to strengthen relationships and promote our brand.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development, preferably within the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing relationships with master agents or similar partners.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales models and strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to travel to meet with partners and attend industry events.

Location: Remote or hybrid optionSalary Range: $130,000-$170,000"Salary ranges provided are for informational purposes only and may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographic location. The final salary offer will be determined based on your skills and understanding of the role requirements."

Travel Requirements


The travel requirements for this position may vary depending on our needs. You should be prepared to travel domestically as necessary. Travel frequency and duration will be communicated in advance, allowing for proper planning and coordination. Typically, travel may include attending conferences, client meetings, training sessions, and other business-related events. The ability to travel is essential for fulfilling the responsibilities of this role and supporting our organization's goals and objectives.
