We are seeking:
A top-notch DevOps Team Lead with a proven track record of helping design and bring to production scalable, microservice-based, deep-learning cloud tools for industrial process optimization. This solution will support thousands of plants and form the foundation of a global manufacturing optimization system.
Role description:
- Manage an amazing DevOps team
- Hire and train DevOps engineers
- Create and maintain cutting-edge cloud infrastructure to host services developed in-house (Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh)
- Work with architects and developers to create services built on observable, scalable, and secure infrastructure
- Deploy monitoring and alerting tools to give dev and support teams insight into how their services function
- Build out CI/CD automation and workflows for new services and maintain workflows for existing services
- Leverage public cloud services and tools to improve the efficiency and reliability of our services and workflows
- Research and integrate new tools and frameworks
Requirements:
- At least 5 years as DevOps Engineer
- At least 3 years as DevOps Team Leader
- Experience developing and maintaining microservice-based SaaS systems
- Experience managing CI/CD tools: Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Experience with container orchestration, Kubernetes, docker swarm or alternative
- Experience with production monitoring solutions
- Knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud
Advantage:
- Development experience, preferably in Python/Go
- Hands-on production troubleshooting experience
- Experience in maintaining web-based products
- Experience in handling on-premise infrastructure
- Experience building out VPC
