This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States and Canada.

Fullstory is looking for a Senior People Partner, reporting to the Senior Manager, Partners & Places, to be a strategic partner to executives and leaders across the business – acting as a trusted advisor and change agent. You know how to influence the c-suite and individual contributors alike, and you use your strong grasp of HR functional knowledge to strike the balance of strategic, "big picture" guidance with day-to-day HR support (e.g., performance cycles, engagement surveys). You're reliable, responsive, and service-oriented; leaders and team members trust you to deliver as promised.

In a typical day, you might:

  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership to provide valuable guidance on People Processes and surface risks with proposed solutions (backed with data and evidence).

  • Assess complex issues using HR experience and knowledge as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions. You take a nuanced approach that aligns with company goals and policies.

  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. We value clear, concise, and kind language that helps us understand each other and foster a healthy organizational culture.

  • Utilize People Ops core metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement in areas such as employee retention, engagement, and productivity

  • Collaborate with People Programs and HR Ops to design and deliver training and write content on topics such as onboarding, benefits, leadership development, and compensation.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years experience as an HR Business Partner in the tech industry, supporting multiple teams and several layers of management.

  • Experience supporting executives and VPs in designing org structures, operationalizing talent processes, and creating solutions to department-specific challenges to foster a high-performance culture.

  • Strong working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations. You have a client-service mindset, you recognize that circumstances change in dynamic organizations, and you prefer to be a few steps ahead of your stakeholders to anticipate their needs.

It would be amazing if:

  • You believe clarity is kindness, and you’re a closed book when it comes to information shared with you in confidence.

  • You’re an exceptional collaborator: We all take initiative and never throw things over the wall.

  • You love to partner across people operations and remember your “first team” is Fullstory, not your business unit.

  • You dislike bureaucracy but follow the rules.
