Harbor is hiring a
Security Analyst to join our internal IT Operations department. This role requires an extremely responsible candidate with one to two years of experience working with security policy and procedures. This is a fully remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to client security questionnaires, as directed by leadership;
- Review, update and manage Security Policy and Procedures documentation;
- Work with the infrastructure team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities;
- Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards;
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management;
- Aid in investigation of security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in information security or a related field;
- A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, or relevant experience;
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques;
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to administer network and host-based tools for pen testing & ethical hacking products;
- Knowledge of host compromise & malware injection techniques;
- Experience with cloud and virtualization infrastructure and provisioning;
- Excellent oral & written technical communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; intermediate to advanced level understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Certification:
- Must have industry-recognized certifications in CISSP, GIAC, or similar (or achieve within one year of employment)
