As an Analyst, Strategy and Analytics at Novo, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven strategies across our entire product suite. Your primary focus will be on inculcating a test-and-learn culture to enhance customer acquisition (account volume), customer lifetime value (NPV), and customer engagement on our platform. You will be responsible for:
- Designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses related to product features, marketing strategies, and lending initiatives.
- Analyzing data to generate actionable insights that inform product roadmap, marketing spend, and lending capital investments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Lending, to implement and evaluate data-driven initiatives.
- Identifying new opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements through rigorous data analysis and strategic thinking.
- Taking ideas from concept (0) to market (1) to get real-world feedback and refine strategies based on actual performance.
Requirements for the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
- Intermediate or Advanced experience in SQL
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity
- Based out of our New York or Miami office, and willing to come into the office at least three times a week.

- Effective design and execution of data-driven experiments that lead to measurable improvements in customer acquisition, lifetime value, and engagement.
- Successful collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Proactive identification of growth opportunities and efficiency improvements through rigorous analysis and strategic insight.
- Achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer growth, engagement, and profitability.
Nice To Have, but Not Required:
- Experience in the fintech or banking industry.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in business contexts.
- Experience with customer segmentation and lifecycle analysis.
Salary Range (NYC): 100-120K annualized salary. This range is not inclusive of discretionary bonus or equity package, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. The range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of New York City.
