About Druxia:
Druxia is a venture-backed vertical SaaS start-up based in California. We are building cloud-based workflow software for Oil Field Service (OFS) providers. It will be the single platform for OFS providers to perform all backend operations and administration with modern software. The platform will give OFS providers the ability to better manage their cash, resources, and critical relationships with oil producers.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Founding Engineer at Druxia, you will play a pivotal role in leading the technology vision, strategy, and execution for our ERP software platform. Along with our CTO, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire technology stack, architecture, and development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of OFS providers in the oil industry.Your key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain our software product ensuring high quality and user experience
- Work closely with the founding team to implement the company's vision and long-term strategy
- Build scalable and high-performance systems
- Develop database schemas, and ensure data integrity and security
- Continuously improve the codebase for efficiency, scalability, and simplicity
- Make sound technology choices and architecture decisions
- Work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members as the engineering team grows
Skills & Qualification:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Proficient in developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL is a plus
- Strong understanding of database schema design, including both relational databases like MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React, NextJS, etc.
- Experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps principles
- Strong understanding of version control, ideally Git
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in mobile development (React Native or PWA)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, Vercel, Cloudflare
