Job Summary:
GDT is seeking an Associate Sales Specialist to assist in our continued growth in the areas of multi-vendor programs and agreements.The Software Sales Specialist will be focused on accelerating software sales, enterprise agreements, and subscriptions. Responsible for educating sales team and sales support on new consumption models, adoption services, and software licensing.
Key Responsibilities:
·Handle multiple vendors, programs, and license types.·Lead sales teams on positioning multi-architecture Enterprise Agreements.·Develop sales strategies on renewals and new software opportunities.·Presentations to customers, sales, and sales support on software offers and internal processes to support revenue opportunities.·Understanding of license management and vendor tools to manage software consumption.·Team with sales and vendors to price, quote, and close bundled software offerings.·Drive adoption services focused on providing business outcomes for customers and positioning of solutions throughout all stages of customers’ lifecycle.·Develop and implement processes and procedures to automate the reporting of key software data.·Provide analysis of software data that can be used to drive key business decisions.·Work with Legal to understand and interpret software agreements, determine use rights and billing requirements.·Manage license true-up, reconciliation, and renewals.·Be point-of-contact for internal license escalation assistance.·Actively participate in software process audits.Assist with dispute resolution.
Recommend audit defense initiatives.·Actively stay informed of new and updated software license models, programs, and options for key vendors.·Interlocks and collaborates with GDT teams to contribute to overall software strategy.·Contributes data and participates in customers’ quarterly business reviews.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
