Who We Are Looking For: As Product Approval and Testing Specialist, you support and manage all product approvals and testing, working closely with Product Approval/Testing Manager, Product Development/Design, Consumer Testing, and affiliated Wal-Mart teams to ensure quality testing requirements are accurately met for all Private and National Branded apparel products. What You´ll Do:
- Work with cross functional teams to proactively achieve testing deadlines.
- Maintain and update tracking for testing and samples throughout the lifecycle.
- Work with internal color lab on any lab dip submits that fall outside of the color flow process.
- Communicate any updates to the testing and trim code requirements as communicated by our external partners.
- Organize and manage development samples for retailer milestone meetings.
- Assist Design/Merchandising team with retail market intelligence.
- Partner with Design/Merchandising to log, organize, and deliver development samples for customers.
- Manage sample logistics and assist with presentation set up.
- Work with cross functional teams to obtain trim/packaging approvals.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-4 year experience and/or internships.
- Apparel and/or textile product development or technical background.
- Understanding of the Walmart apparel approval process.
- Walmart Merchandising or CTL related experience a plus.
- Knowledge of textiles and PLM systems a plus.
- Understanding of CTL/UL testing processes a plus.
- General proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Deep attention to detail and dedication to accuracy and precision. Hands on approach to the product and business. Strong interpersonal skills to foster cross-departmental relationships. Customer focus. Strong and timely follow-up skills.
