We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Information & Digital team and help us build and maintain our Snowflake data lake and overall data architecture.
What you will be doing:
- You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Snowflake data lake & overall data infrastructure. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure data is efficiently processed, stored, and utilized for business insights
- You will work closely with business stakeholders across the company (Finance, Commercial, Service and Operations, IT) to understand their data needs and provide them with reliable, scalable, and secure data solutions.
- You will design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines, ETL processes, data models, and reports using various tools and technologies.
- You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and quality of our data infrastructure and processes.
- You will ensure data consistency and accuracy through data validation and cleansing techniques
- You will establish and enforce robust data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, data privacy, and compliance
- You will collaborate with other data analysts, and IT professionals to share best practices, learn new skills, and contribute to the data strategy and roadmap.
- You will stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and methodologies
- Working according to Insightec Quality Policy, relevant Quality Procedures & Standards, and privacy & safety rules.
What you have
:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse, including data loading, transformation, security, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, and familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with data ingestion & data automation tools such as Workato or Rivery.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong business understanding around finance, commercial & operations practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.
