Position Summary


We are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. This role will report to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare monthly financial statements for companies
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for companies
  • Assist in Month-End variance analysis
  • Set up new vendor accounts
  • Reconcile all company’s bank accounts daily
  • Review/reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Submit monthly Intercompany settlement requests
  • Prepare weekly trend reports
  • Assist with 1099’s preparation
  • Update accounting processes as needed to maintain accounting records efficiently
  • Create logical document retention structure to enable self and others to quickly, and accurately, find relevant document
  • Other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+years’ experience in accounting/finance
  • 5+ years’ experience with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central)
  • Experience in working with multiple entities
  • Experience with Month End Close, JE’s
  • Experience working in a small or mid-sized companies
  • Intermediate Excel Skills (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Windows Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter and critical thinker

Physical Requirements
