The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.
This position is based in New York City, and will be in-office 3-4 days per week.We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Consumer Growth to join our Product team remotely in order to lead our efforts in driving

. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing growth strategies that scale our consumer base and enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in growth marketing, analytics, and a deep understanding of the delivery tech landscape.

What You'll Do


  • Growth Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Product, and Data teams to design and execute effective growth campaigns
  • Consumer Insights & Analytics:
  • Utilize data analytics and consumer insights to inform decision-making and optimize growth strategies
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track progress and share insights with stakeholders
  • Campaign Managment:
  • Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive user growth
  • Oversee the development of creative assets and messaging that resonates with target audiences
  • Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, segmentation, and performance analysis
  • Retention & Engagement:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve user retention and engagement
  • Work closely with the Product team to enhance user experience and drive long-term loyalty
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth
  • Market Expansion:
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and expansion strategies
  • Lead go-to-market efforts for new product launches and geographic expansions
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships to drive growth and enhance product offerings

What You Bring:


  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, consumer marketing, or a related role within the tech industry, preferably in the delivery tech ecosystem
  • Proven track record of driving significant user growth and engagement
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field preferred

$120,000 - $180,000 a yearThis salary is the total On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role, with a base + commission compensation structure.Sauce is an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
