Our company seeks an experienced senior-level engineer to join our remote R&D team, leading the development of cutting-edge applications aimed at boosting business metrics with fast time to market.This role will report into the R&D Team Lead of the Platform Team.
What You'll Do:
- Take time to learn and develop a thorough understanding of the business requirements and business processes
- Evaluate and select the appropriate tools, programming languages, and SaaS platforms to be used
- Automate the current manual business and operational workflows and processes
- Integrate new automation solutions with our existing systems and APIs
- Create processes and applications from the ground up - you will be the initial contributor to our new direction
- Be in charge of the solution from ideation to roll-out
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 2 years as a CTO or similar position in a tech startup
- 5+ years of software development experience in business process automation
- Proficiency in web scraping tools, frameworks, and techniques
- Experience in automating business processes and integrating with different systems
- Proficiency in utilizing a diverse set of tools, programming languages, and SaaS platforms
- Experience in Low Code/No-Code tools (Zapier, Integromat, Retool, etc)
- Proven ability to rapidly and independently design, develop, and deliver POC/MVP products/tools
- Softs skills:
- Start-up mindset - “can do anything” approach, generalist & T-shaped type of professional
- Strong problem-solving skills and a "hacker" mindset for innovative solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and independence
- Experience working directly with C-level executives
- Would be a plus:
- Expertise in developing Chrome extensions
- Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (e.g., OpenAI, transformers by HuggingFace, LangChain)
- Familiarity with our stack & tools (C#/.NET, Typescript, MongoDB, Azure)
