The mission of
Trust Machines is to grow the Bitcoin economy. We’ve recently raised $150M to realize this vision, build Bitcoin apps, and the open-source technologies required to unleash the true potential of Bitcoin for DeFi and Decentralized Applications.We’re looking for a mission-oriented part-time Front End Developer to join us here at Trust Machines. This role is essential in building a premier user experience for the Bitcoin ecosystem, fostering an engaged user base, and broadening the wallet’s capabilities within the Bitcoin realm.We maintain a suite of product landing pages and need a dynamic developer who can work with our marketing team to update our sites.
Our products include Leather Wallet, Orange Domains, and more in stealth. You'll work with Webflow, Framer, and Figma daily to transform design mockups into functional, responsive, and user-friendly websites. You'll collaborate closely with our Marketing and Product teams to ensure that every project meets our functional excellence and aesthetic appeal standards. You will implement animations, optimize web performance, and ensure accessibility across all web projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Build beautiful user interfaces across our exciting product portfolio.
- Write well-tested, reliable code for use by millions of users
- Work as an integral member of a cross-functional team focused on improving customer journeys and creating high-impact features for our products while championing mature design practices.
- Work closely with engineering peers to align on the architectural direction and consistent use of design patterns while considering how code can be shared cross-product.
- Collaborate with the design team, considering multiple ways to solve problems weighing up implementation complexity, user experience, and product impact.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years in a similar role(s) for consumer software, with 2 years at a startup
- Penchant for elegant and simple solutions for complex requirements
- Deep experience with JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React or Vue
- Expert-level understanding of HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with Webflow, Framer, and Builder and a willingness to work in it daily
- Understanding of web performance optimization
- Experience with build tools and task runners like Webpack, Vite, or npm scripts
- Deep experience with Figma
- Experience with Typescript, frontend frameworks (ideally React), CI/CD tooling
- A high degree of user empathy, inclination to question assumptions, independent self-organizer, openness to feedback, and comfort with technical complexity
We’d Also Like to See:
- Excited to work in the crypto industry
- Experience with analytic tools, instrumenting them across various platforms in a consistent, effective way, debugging issues
- Ability to collaborate with an open-source team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with UI configuration best practices
