As a Staff Accountant, you will work with the Corporate Accounting team to support the monthly accounting processes within a fast-paced, global company. This position focuses on managing balance sheet accounts with a strong emphasis on cash reconciliation.

Monday-Friday, 8:30a -5:30p Eastern time.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Generate timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct general ledger analysis and perform account reconciliations.
- Manage financial records for subsidiaries by evaluating balance sheets and ledger accounts.
- Align foreign financial statements with US GAAP standards.
- Validate coding of department transactions and GL accounts.
- Perform reconciliations for both domestic and foreign bank accounts.
- Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries.
- Support variance analysis during the closing process.
- Create special reports and handle projects to provide financial insights as needed.
- Develop and uphold global accounting policies.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while contributing to the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of accounting experience, including general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and overall proficiency in MS Office are essential.
- Knowledge of US GAAP standards and experience in aligning foreign financial statements are important.
- The ability to perform bank reconciliations for both domestic and foreign accounts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and excellent organizational skills, follow-up abilities, and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create special reports and handle financial projects.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities is crucial.
- The ability to develop and uphold global accounting policies.
