SCCM Administrator to support our client based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.  This is an on-site position. The Opportunity


TECKpert is seeking a SCCM Administrator to support our client, a government agency in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position is responsible for managing and supporting the architecture and operations of the messaging infrastructure within our client's enterprise environment. This includes managing recipients, mailboxes, mail flow, threat protection, compliance, migrations, interfaces, and client connectivity. The role requires hands-on system administration, troubleshooting, and enhancing messaging systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across desktop computers, servers, and mobile devices.Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and manage all messaging platforms, including Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise hybrid environment, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, messaging archivers, and text message capture.
  • Perform tasks related to the architecture, deployment, configuration, modification, administration, maintenance, monitoring, optimization, upgrading, and securing of messaging systems.
  • Conduct vendor administration, maintain up-to-date systems through regular health checks, and manage communication and compliance with vendors.
  • Author, review, and update technical documentation, including contracts, statements of work, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide Level 2 and 3 troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for messaging systems.
  • Respond to and fulfill public records requests related to messaging systems.
  • Mentor and coach ITD (Information Technology Department) team members, collaborate with ITD Project Management Office, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
  • Maintain system compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, FBI and FDLE CJIS guidelines, CALEA certification, and industry best practices.

Compensation and Term This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.Qualifications you

A successful SCCM Administrator  has the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in systems and security administration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Preferred experience in public safety organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM and Windows Server administration.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification Level 4 or higher within 10 business days of employment.
  • Valid Florida driver's license without restrictions that may affect job performance.
  • Light physical effort in sedentary to light work. Requiring ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds).
