About the Role


As a Property Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financials for a portfolio of our industrial properties. This position will manage a portfolio of Assets with a Flexible Hybrid work structure, with the expectation of at least three days per week in our Hoboken, NJ office.

Responsibilities: 


  • Maintain accounting records and perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Enter, review, and post monthly Accruals
  • Support property and Asset managers in review and preparation of monthly variance reports and Tenant Billing reports
  • Process all accounts payable for accuracy of G/L codes applied by AP team
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable process - monitor cash receipts, review and bill tenant recurring charges and billing adjustments.
  • Runs recurring monthly rental billing reports to review for accuracy is consistent with monthly budgets
  • Prepare CAM Reconciliations
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed

About You


  • 3-5 years of relevant property accounting experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field 
  • Adept at Excel formulas including, but not limited to, V-lookups, Pivot tables and sum-ifs
  • Experience with Yardi software required  
  • Detail oriented, analytical, strong organizational skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, works well under pressure and possess the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize effectively
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
