POSITIONS SUMMARY
We are looking for a technician who will oversee client installs, repairs, and maintenance of gaming equipment. The Field Service Technician is responsible for building relationships with customers and showing customers how to use equipment.The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, maintaining and repairing gaming equipment, loading and unloading supplies, as well as assisting in other areas as needed. Additionally, this position may require responses to service calls on nights and weekends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide service and customer support during location visits
- Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of slot machines
- Perform auditing procedures on slot machines; conduct routine equipment servicing at customer locations
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
- Interact with clerks, management, and customers to solve issues as they arise
- Document processes; completing job reports
- Reconcile any discrepancies and weekly accounting reports
- Maintain company inventory stock levels and work closely with management on part ordering and replenishment
- Troubleshoot and repair gaming equipment at a bench level
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification preferred
- 3+ years as a field service technician
- Proven work experience as a field service technician
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record to drive a company vehicle before the start date in the position
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Possess the ability to use hand/portable tools
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
- Excellent time management skills
- Mechanical and electrical skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Good communication and training skills
- Must have weekend flexibility
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the day
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, and ladders, to crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach above/below shoulders
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds and/or move up to 250 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
- Exposure to outside weather conditions
