Get to know Hilco Consumer - RetailProviding broad and deep expertise across all retail sectors, Hilco Consumer – Retail delivers a wide range of analytical, advisory, asset monetization, and capital investment solutions to help define and execute non-core strategic initiatives for our retail and consumer goods clients around the world.Leveraging knowledge gained over more than three decades, Hilco Merchant Resources custom-crafts liquidation and disposition events at the wholesale and retail level to monetize unwanted or underperforming inventory and FF&E.

Our team develops, implements, and manages going out of business sales, store closings and relocations, and clearance event sales, in support of M&A transactions, divestitures, rationalizations, and other efforts.

Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, monitoring project progress, and resolving any obstacles that may arise. You will also be responsible for stakeholder communication, ensuring that project objectives are clearly communicated and delivered upon. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and leadership skills, as well as a proven track record in project management within the retail industry.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan
Manage project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation and resolution strategies
Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements and challenges

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
2-4 years of proven experience in project management, preferably within the retail industry
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
