The Role:
The Media & Operations Planner is a strategic and analytical driver of solutions, placing our partners and clients first. With a demonstrated grasp of both digital and traditional media and a knowledge of the agency landscape, this role offers an opportunity to cultivate and oversee crucial relationships and processes while serving as a trusted product expert.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Plan interactive media plans on assigned accounts with a 48 hour turnaround
- Create Media plans based on RFP requests including working with partners to check avails, understanding campaign parameters and KPIs per RFP & brief
- Provide proactive solutions for media plans
- Revise media plans based off of client feedback
- Manage opportunities in our internal CRM system from 0% - 100% based on how the opportunity progresses, up to an including margin management
- Clearly articulate Group Black products and services
- Attend marketing downloads and participate in ideation discussion. Recap these brainstorm meetings, outlining action items for each member along with deadline dates
- Effectively communicate with partners and facilitate any questions/deliverables for clients

What you bring to the team:
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital media platforms, social advertising, and linear platforms
- Experience planning, delivering, and executing media, measurement strategy and providing insights and campaign recommendations
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
- Advertising Operations experience and/or familiarity with Third Party Ad Serving platforms/Rich Media/Verification providers is required
- Strong client facing experience
- Problem-solving, analytical skills, and resourcefulness
- Experience leading and managing initiatives and complex work-streams autonomously, with a high degree of accountability and high attention to detail
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and objectives of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated media and/or agency experience
- Advanced Excel/Sheets/PPT/Slides skills, experience working through reporting
- Experience working with partner platforms or clients
At Group Black we believe in leveraging our hiring process as a way to support transparency. The annual base salary band for this opportunity is $65,000 - $70,000. Our job offer compensation philosophy, which impacts actual compensation, is based on a number of important factors including, but not limited to, internal and market equity, financial budgets, and the individual’s skills, qualifications, experience, and education.
