Analytics Engineer

They are the reason we can create a great product and do it while enjoying ourselves.We are looking for a data-savvy analytics engineer to join our BI team and aid us in developing Veo’s analytical platform, supplying the business with data and insights to make better decisions.You are enthusiastic about data, emphasizing data warehousing and advanced analytics.

You also enjoy doing deep-dive analyses and collaborating with business users and analysts to discover new critical insights.

Key responsibilities and tasks:


  • Develop, maintain, and expand our data warehouse and analytical platform through dbt.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to interpret and model data for company-wide usage.
  • Build dashboards and create one-off reports and deep dives.
  • Support self-service initiatives and deep-dive analyses.

Experience and skills:


  • Expert in data modeling and modern data warehousing.
  • Proven experience with SQL and dbt.
  • Work experience within data analytics, data engineering, or BI.
  • Natural curiosity and ability to understand many different business areas.
  • Comprehensive analytical mindset.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:


  • Experience with BigQuery and GCP.
  • Experience with BI tools like Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Good understanding of data visualization best practices.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Python or another programming language.
