You will play a key role in ensuring the success of 365 Retail Markets network connectivity and security footprint. Your primary role will focus on maintaining uninterrupted, optimal performance of 365s interconnected devices and network landscape. You will look forward to bringing a knack for troubleshooting challenges and a security mindset to help 365s networking operations excel.
Responsibilities
- Optimize and secure internal and production network infrastructure.
- Deployment, integration, and maintenance of network resources.
- Identify & investigate potential network issues.
- Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and Security teams.
- Conduct capacity and performance planning.
- Ensure all systems maintain quality uptime and are configured appropriately.
- Assist in management and maintenance of data center, office, and cloud connectivity.
- Document and maintain the company’s network topology.
- Prioritizing reactive work with project work and communicating updates with stakeholders and teammates.
- Attend weekly meetings and stand-ups with various technology teams.
- Participate in network and security audits.
- Outside of regular business hours availability on occasion for maintenance, or critical system failure.
- Weekly on call rotation for reacting to after hours issues.
Requirements
- 5 years hands-on administrative experience with enterprise grade routers, switches, and NGFWs. Palo Alto a plus.
- 5 years’ experience with Cloud provider networking services including AWS VPC/Azure vNET/GCP VPC.
- Solid experience with IP addressing, Subnetting/CIDR, Static and Dynamic routing, NAT, Access control rules, VPN configuration.
- Experience working with Layer2 protocols such as STP, ARP, MAC addresses, VLAN configuration and deployment.
- Security conscious mindset and familiar with functions of ZTNA, IDS/IPS , L7 packet inspection, URL Filtering.
- Proficient understanding of how DHCP and DNS function on an internal network.
- Experience with networking tools such as Wireshark, TCPDump, NMAP, or other penetration testing tools.
- Good understanding of Windows/Linux server administration and networking.
- Window server common roles and features knowledge such as Active directory/Domain environment, GPO, DHCP, DNS, IIS, SMB, Hyper-V a plus.
- Linux server knowledge (apache/nginx, openssh, docker, iptables, netplan, OpenVPN) a plus.
- Ability to occasionally physically lift, carry, and install equipment up to 50 lbs.
