High Alpha is hiring a key team member for a new B2B SaaS startup in Indianapolis focused on generative AI in the marketing industry. This position will join High Alpha’s latest company, which is pre-public launch. You’ll work closely with the founding team while reporting directly to the Chief Data Scientist. What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a part-time Data Analyst to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in data analysis and a strong background in Python, SQL. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing marketing data, generating insights, and helping shape marketing strategies.Hours: 20 hours per week, on a set schedule
- Analysis of marketing engagement behavior
- Create RFM clustering and segments
- Use statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets.
- Responsible for reporting on campaign performance
- Data cleansing, organization and cataloging for building data science and AI models
- Database maintenance
- Other data responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a marketing or software company.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with marketing metrics and KPIs is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in data science
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Knowledge of A/B testing and experimental design.
- Previous experience in a software company.
