We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for an Administrative Support Intern to join our team. This role will provide hands-on experience in supporting our design department by assisting in document preparation, invoice management, and supplier communication. Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the sales department as needed, gaining valuable exposure to various aspects of our business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and finalizing documents and invoices for clients under supervision.
- Support client communications to gather necessary information for document completion.
- Help coordinate with suppliers to collect missing information required for ongoing projects.
- Aid in maintaining organized records of client interactions, transactions, and invoices.
- Collaborate with the sales team on administrative tasks such as preparing materials and scheduling appointments.
- Assist with general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and office organization.
Requirements:
- Current student of Tourism, Hospitality, or Business program (or recent graduate)
- Must be available Monday to Friday for a minimum of 3 months.
- Advanced communication skills – ability to write with a clear sense of style.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Some previous travel industry experience an asset.
- Excellent grasp on Microsoft Office applications (excel, word specifically)
- Knowledge of Office 365 functionality would be an asset.
- Attention to detail (accuracy of information)
- Able to seamlessly switch priorities in a fast-paced environment.
