Position Summary:
As an Event Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing a variety of events, including webinars, trade shows, conferences, and virtual events, with the aim of attracting and engaging our target audience. This role requires an understanding of B2B SaaS, event planning, and a knack for organizing and working with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning: Plan and manage all aspects of events, including budgeting, logistics, vendor selection, venue coordination, and event promotion.
- Event Strategy – Work with the Demand Gen team to develop and execute on event marketing strategy to meet goals.
- Audience Engagement: Work with the Demand Gen team to create engaging and interactive event experiences that resonate with attendees and support lead generation efforts.
- Content Development: Collaborate with the content marketing team to create event-related content, including presentations, webinars, and promotional materials.
- Promotion: Coordinate event promotion strategies across multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, and partnerships.
- Registration and Ticketing: Oversee event registration processes and ticketing platforms, ensuring a smooth registration experience for attendees.
- Logistics: Manage event logistics, including booth setup, equipment, signage, and promotional materials.
- Data Analysis: Track and analyze event performance metrics to measure the success of each event and provide insights for future improvements.
- Post-Event Follow-Up: Develop post-event engagement strategies to nurture and convert leads generated from events.
- Budget Management: Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 2-3 years of experience in event marketing, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to create engaging event experiences.
- Proficiency in event management software and registration platforms.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze event data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel for on-site events as needed.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
