The Product and Engagement Coordinator is part of the team whose mission is to combat domain names used for phishing, malware, botnets and spam. Reporting to the Director, Programs & Policies, the Product and Engagement Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include coordinating strategic stakeholder engagement and product improvements. This includes planning, execution and administration of our external engagement activities as well as planning, prioritizing and executing a product roadmap in collaboration with internal colleagues and external contractors. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


PRODUCT Develop an introductory overview of the NetBeacon, its aims and initiatives, and its two flagship products: NetBeacon Measurement and Analytics Platform (MAP) and NetBeacon Reporter. Conduct introductory onboarding meetings for new users. Conduct listening sessions to understand needs and requirements, define concepts, solicit feedback and identify next steps. Organize external input and ideas into potential development priorities. Work collaboratively with relevant internal colleagues to organize potential development priorities into a roadmap and create a plan for execution of the roadmap.

  Work with relevant teams and external providers to ensure the product roadmaps are executed.  STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENTSupport the development and execution of stakeholder engagement and outreach strategies and desired deliverables. Coordinate committees, working groups and strategic partners to foster collaboration and advance the initiatives of NetBeacon. Work with the marketing team to assist in the development of, and ensure the execution of our communications plans. Feed in relevant product related knowledge and information about our users.Contribute to the writing, editing, dissemination and management of messaging and content to support communications plans. For example, this could include contributing to writing a case study for publication on our website. Support engagement and communication by developing and maintaining documentation, and presentation resources and materials. Work with the marketing team to ensure the website is maintained and kept up to date and help with stakeholder engagement-related event planning, such as meeting logistics (securing meeting venues, platforms, speakers and materials).GENERAL SUPPORT Oversee project management tasks, including strategic planning, progress assessment and reporting. Support day-to-day operations such as scheduling meetings, collecting and tracking data and coordinating communications.Attending events on behalf of the Institute to engage with external stakeholders. Possibility of (less than 12%)  international travel if deemed necessary.Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Supervision Received and Exercised


Position works under general supervision of the Director, Programs and Policies. 

Minimum Experience Requirements


3+ years experience in project & product management, reporting and strategic planning. Data, analytical or research related experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements


Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, presentation, product and project management skills.Strong interest and understanding of the Internet and Internet infrastructureDemonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, and understand plans, goals, and relate those to NetBeacon’s strategies. Strong attention to detail and ability to keep projects on track. Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements or internal and external customers and stakeholders, responding to all requests promptly and thoroughly.Excellent collaboration, customer service, relationship building/management and consensus building skills.

 Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.Exhibits willingness to be flexible and adaptive and demonstrates a desire to operate in a dynamic and high-growth environment.Experience working in or with an organization, program, or department focused on policy and/or advocacy.A passion for delivering impact and value.Internal and External Contacts This position regularly interfaces with all employees of Company as well as outside vendors, suppliers and industry representatives.
