LOCATION: Houston, TX - Corporate Office
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Drive cohesive communications campaigns and build content to expand market position. Engage and inform audiences to make connections with UTEX to improve brand loyalty and sales revenue.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create marketing content – written word, video, and static images – across a multitude of social channels, newsletters and other marketing collateral.
- Manage the ongoing social media content calendar, execute marketing campaigns and coordinate with internal partners.
- Engage with our followers, responding to questions, and escalating concerns as needed.
- Assist with UTEX’ overall social media strategy and evolution, helping to push us further through smart experiments and new ideas.
- Follow popular trends, monitor new channels, track changes in how the platforms operate, create geo-ads and more.
- Partner with our external vendors and internal creative teams for content and video creation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to cultivate strong working relationships with project team members, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
- Support with additional marketing functions as needed.

- Advanced computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office, Canva and Adobe
- Advanced oral and written communication and comprehension skills
Required Education and Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
- 0-2 years of related experience
