Accounting Manager:


• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively to minimize substantive errors and improve efficiency• Perform month-end and quarter-end reconciliation activities as assigned, and eventually take ownership of entire Impulsify month-end process• Maintain a revenue and deferred revenue schedule• Revenue operations support including commissions, accruals, contract processing• Generate and maintain detailed documentation of policies and processes and assist with process improvement/automation initiatives as they arise• Provide analytical support and assistance with respect to all areas of sales/use tax compliance• Assist with the setup and maintenance of new business processes, including operational setup and chart of account mapping• Manages/executes all Accounts Receivables processes related to invoicing and collections• Manages/executes all Accounts Payable Processes and enters all A/P invoices and expense reports into QuickBooks, including ensuring correct GL Account coding.• Expense Management including all client billables and travel expenses• Review employee expense reports for process and policy compliance• Performs other duties as required to support Accounting and HR Department.

Position Requirements


• The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Generally Accepted AccountingPrinciples (GAAP), and will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting tasks of Impulsify• 3+ years Business Accounting experience in midscale company• SaaS B2B accounting experience preferred• Project management skills, analytical thinker, and attention to detail• Solid Experience creating and managing complex Excel spreadsheets• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required of a customer-facing role.• Competency with Quickbooks Online• Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system• Demonstrated and quantifiable troubleshooting skills• Be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well independently as well as on teams• Demonstrated customer service skills and success exceeding customer expectations• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Strong organizational skills and ability to self-manage• Thrive in a fast-paced environment that is undergoing growth in every department• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field would be preferred• Experience with Quickbooks, Hubspot and Sage Accounting System a plus.

We will undergo a conversion from QBO to Sage within the calendar year. Experience in conversions of this nature is a huge plus!
