About You and The Role
As a Software Test Engineer you will be primarily responsible for executing and triaging automated tests of our critical flight and ground software. This will involve a mix of test coordination, test script development, code inspection and debugging, and multi-disciplinary test planning. Throughout you will develop a strong understanding of our full vehicle system and work closely with cross functional partners who will regularly use your work to deliver a more reliable flight software solution. Most importantly, all of this work you will take on will be the last line of defense before our software is shipped all over the world to perform vital deliveries.

What You'll Do
- Lead triaging and resolution of test failures both at the software and hardware level
- Review system-level validation plans from unit testing all the way to flight
- Inspect other team-members code, holding a high bar for coverage
- Develop test scripts and drivers as needed to execute tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to make sure you are always unblocked
What You'll Bring
- Experience working with CI/CD systems to automate tests
- Experience developing in Python
- Experience working in a large codebase and going through code review process
- Experience triaging / debugging complex software problems
- Experience working with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other hardware instruments
- Experience developing and executing test plans for software
What Else You Need to Know
The starting cash range for this role is $90,000 - 130,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact.
