Position Summary
A Production Engineer in the Standardized Work Products team is responsible for supporting the Program & Change Management teams by delivering the common work products that apply across programs and regions. Deliverables, timing and quality to be defined by the program team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Creation and deployment of Work Unit and supporting Assets (Imagery)
- Manage issue tracking board (Report on Metrics)
- Support program teams with resolution of issues (WU’s on Hold, rework, specification updates)
- Support Change Control Board, identify tasks for Standard Work Team & Deploy
- Active Participation in Program Team Meetings
Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree with major course work in GIS, geography, planning, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with focus on Production/Manufacturing
- Three years of professional experience in either GIS mapping or Data Quality Management.
- Experience with structured problem solving and problem-solving tools.
- Experience with relational database principles including structured query language (SQL).
Work Environment
- Works in a fast-paced office environment with multiple priorities and competing demands.
- Regular office hours with some requirements for additional work during busy times.
- May work for long periods reviewing data on computer.
