POSITION SUMMARY


The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the implementation of software quality assurance processes and procedures for software applications.  The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst assists in establishing software quality standards.

LOCATION


  • This will be a hybrid role, but the incumbent must be in the Malvern office at least 2 days per week.

REQUIRED SKILL SETS


  • 6 years of software testing experience
  • Experience with banking/financial applications
  • Experience creating detailed test scripts in JIRA
  • Experience with manually executing test scripts in JIRA
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Proven experience mentoring less tenured team members

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE


  • Experience with QA automation (web, api and mobile) 
  • 3 years experience REST API testing using Postman and Swagger
  • Experience with information technology, systems analysis and business applications
  • Experience with Agile Development methodology
  • Proficiency with latest OS, Microsoft Office products and Defect Tracking Tools
  • Experience with automated testing tools
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Familiarity in testing API, Mobile and Windows-based applications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The type of activities expected to be performed at this level include, but are not limited to:

  • Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Participating in the planning, executing, and tracking stages of implementation of software development projects as necessary.
  • Providing QA task effort estimates within confidence levels.
  • Assisting in analyzing requirements to develop a written test plan.
  • Developing, maintaining, and executing test scripts and scenarios on assigned products to assure product quality from a functional and qualitative perspective.
  • Documenting, tracking, and verifying defects and enhancements.

  • Assisting architects, programmers, business analysts, and managers in effectively implementing quality software projects.
  • Collaborating with application development teams to troubleshoot issues are determine quality solutions.

  • Analyzing testing results for validity and clarity.
  • Mentoring other QA team members.
  • Efficiently completing tasks within defined time allotment.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS


  • A relevant degree or certification is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
