Job Description:
We are seeking a Product Owner to develop scalable software solutions. You will join a cross-functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle, from initial concept to final deployment.As a Product Owner, you should excel at creating Product Roadmaps and managing Product Backlogs. Additionally, you should be a collaborative team player with strong skills in visual design and utility.If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Defining and managing the product vision and strategy, based on customer and stakeholder needs and market research.
- Creating and prioritizing a product backlog (a list of features and requirements) that aligns with the product vision and goals, and continuously refining it based on feedback and changing business needs.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. developers, designers, marketers, and quality assurance) to ensure that the product meets customer needs and is delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensuring that the product backlog items are clearly defined, well understood, and properly estimated by the development team.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders (e.g. customers, partners, executives, and other departments) on matters related to the product.
- Ensuring that the product is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards, managing product documentation and demos.
- Demonstrating leadership and ownership of the product, and inspiring others to share and contribute to the product vision and goals.
- Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Working with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports
- Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
- Working knowledge of product development architecture.
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools and strong analytical thinking.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- Ability to work with large teams and a variety of people, including users, product development team members and management team members.
- Understanding of design quality standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- An analytical mind.
Generic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/MCA.
- 6-12 years professional experience in Software Development Life Cycle.
- Work experience in Product Design and Development projects/programs.
- Good to have Product Owner/Scrum Master Certification
