Position: Intermediate Developer - Fintech Solutions
Overview:
We are seeking a talented Intermediate Developer with expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS who is eager to tackle new challenges and lead our technical team. This role involves leveraging technology to deliver high-quality client integrations and enhancing efficiency through reusable components. The ideal candidate will excel in a microservices environment, particularly with Java/Spring Boot, and be prepared to mentor and guide a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhancement Design & Implementation: Design and implement improvements to our banking platform using Java (17+) and Kotlin.
Client Integration: Develop integrations with clients through various methods including SFTP, APIs, and configuration.
API Knowledge: Utilize Restful APIs with backend frameworks like Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin) to build robust solutions.
Team Leadership: Lead the team in delivering high-quality solutions, make technology decisions, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Technical Discussions: Engage in technical discussions and decision-making processes to drive faster and higher-quality client implementations.
Cloud & Deployment Expertise: Apply knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure and deployments, including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Fintech Experience: Leverage previous experience with fintech, accounting, or ERP systems to enhance our platform.
On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rotation to support the team, adhering to the “You build it, you maintain it” principle.
Mentorship: Mentor and onboard new team members, assist with documentation, and identify potential enhancements and tools.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Java (17+), Kotlin, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Solid background in microservices architecture and backend development using Spring Boot.
Experience with client integrations via SFTP, APIs, and configuration.
Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.
Prior experience in fintech or with accounting/ERP systems is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for technology and adaptability to evolving tech landscapes.
Ability to lead initiatives, mentor team members, and contribute to technical discussions and decisions.
