Client Operations Specialist

Vise, a technology driven Investment Advisor is seeking a passionate and driven Client Operations Specialist to join our Client Success Team. In this role, you will be an indispensable resource at the operational center of the Vise business, overseeing and managing all onboarding, documentation, and internal operations related tasks. You will learn and understand established internal workflows and offer an entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset to implement and improve the Vise processes and client experience. 

What you will own


  • Collaborate with Vise’s Client Success, Investment Operations, and Finance teams to process and oversee all account setup and implementation
  • Create, execute, and optimize internal processes to improve data collection, document management, and account onboarding
  • Assist with account billing, invoice distribution, and organization of client billing records 
  • Support the daily process of reconciling client account data from the custodian
  • Resolve daily account issues at custodians and on the Vise platform

What you bring on day one


  • Minimum of two to four years of experience in a financial services operations role
  • Experience working in middle and back office operations supporting SMAs for clients of registered investment advisors (RIAs) and/or broker-dealers
  • Familiar with RIA custodian platforms such as Schwab and Fidelity
  • Experience with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) for portfolio accounting and reporting 
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint tools - Python and SQL a plus

Through the internal and market data Vise has collected, we expect the salary range for this position to be $60,000 - 75,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package. Your actual compensation will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Vise offers a wide range of comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits.
