Job Summary
A Digital Content Specialist / Digital Event Specialist creates online content and coordinates event visibility to increase traffic and/or improve sales for a company or website. Their responsibilities may include:
- Content creation through on site install photos, videos, interviews
- Writing blog posts, creating content for marketing campaigns, and producing and curating high quality digital content for social media platforms and company websites
- Setting up and breaking down event displays
- Assist with social media accounts, including community management, scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating content
- Researching trending topics and industry trends to identify insights and aid in content strategy development
Requirements And Skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Photography and video recording experience
- Familiarity with social media marketing campaigns
- Event/display experience preferred
- Experience in blogging or web copywriting
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as marketing, graphic design, communications, English, journalism, business
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Local travel required
- Regional travel on a per project basis
- Ability to lift and carry event material including tables, banners, samples, etc.
