GaN is seeking an experienced
SeniorContracts Administrator to support our work in Huntsville, Alabama. Ideal candidates have recent and relevant experience gained from providing contract and subcontract management support to DOD or other Government organizations and are adept at briefing senior staff personnel regarding contracting policies/regulations. Experience in Service Contracts and GSA Schedules are critical.Responsibilities
- Interface with internal and external personnel regarding contract performance, pricing development and risk mitigation for proposals.
- Maintain effective processes and standard contracts for the company.
- Write contracts to include preparation and assistance with the Statement of Work, Justification and Approvals, Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL), and other pertinent documents.
- Analyze all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and company policies, procedures, goals, and objectives and determine potential impact on the business.
- Understand contract finances and ensure adequate funding, proper invoicing, indirect rate adjustments and lead final contract close-out procedures.
- Develop, maintain, and provide contract metrics to the program manager and leadership team to improve project performance and compliance
- Conduct CDRL reviews, invoice reviews, and site visits.
- Prepare requests for proposals to suppliers and audit existing contracts and subcontracts, overseeing any contract modifications and monitoring performance of each signed contract.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and manages all changes in close coordination with the program manager and senior leadership team
- Prepare and negotiate NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Subcontract Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Leasing Agreements, Organizational Conflict of Interest Certifications, and other contractual correspondence.
- Develop, manage, and schedule internal program audits of all Federal and commercial contracts
- Interface with contracting office to address and generate questions for Government issued RFI, DRFP and RFP’s
- Thorough understanding of contract terms/conditions and able to effectively train and supervise other contract professionals
Requirements (minimum)
- BS in contracts, business or related field and 7+ years of experience in contracting, subcontracting, and pricing/costing.
- Experience administering Service Contracts, GSA Schedules, large IDIQs and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA).
- Knowledge of the FAR
- Understanding of SBA rules and regulations
- Experience pricing proposals
- Must have experience administering various contract types (Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, Firm Fixed Price)
- Must have the ability to digest complex technical issues and evaluate those issues to assess the impact to the contract.
- Must have the ability to work in a teaming environment and have the personality to interface with numerous Government and contractor personnel in a rapid paced environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite of products.
