MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
- All-source analysis experience working with intelligence tools/data sources to solve complex problems.
- Ability to research, analyze, document, and convey technical information.
- Experience providing technical expertise on how the transportation / logistical industry functions and operates
- Excellent verbal, writing, and briefing skills with the ability to communicate both technical and operational information to wide-ranging audiences.
- Transportation / logistical background with a deep understanding of current foreign threats
- Identify innovative, integrated solutions and assess, detect, counter and deter physical and technical threats.
- Work independently with little to no guidance and/or direction to develop and maintain overall analytical production
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Provides all-source analytic production on foreign logistics infrastructure facilities and networks associated with strategic mobility, sustainability, planning, and operations
- Analytic topics include, but not limited to, roads, rail, inland waterway ports, depots, maintenance facilities and waterways to determine physical characteristics, capacity, and vulnerabilities
- Provides assessments of worldwide transportation and logistics control and automation systems
- Conducts analysis of foreign military logistics systems, both conventional and non-conventional, from the command and organization structure, to storage and distribution networks
PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop briefings and analytic products to define threat environments
- Advise, assist, and support in the research and production of all-source counterintelligence analysis on foreign intelligence services intent and capability to exploit, sabotage, subvert, or otherwise disrupt the supply chains for both COTS and GOTS
- Provide input in and response to critical requests for information, finished intelligence production
- Conduct open source research using subscription data, commercial data, and other openly available sources
- Define threat concepts to identified components, platforms and/or systems
- Evaluate threats to inform threat realism for evaluating operational effectiveness, suitability, and survivability of identified systems
- Determine transportation / logistical threat resource requirements, availability, adequacy, and define gaps between capability of adversarial actors and actual threats
- Coordinate with intelligence, acquisition and industry communities
